THE FANNY PACK

Yes, you read that correctly. I've been thinking a lot about the fanny pack recently, and well, I don't hate it. It may not be my favorite carrying-device but it definitely isn't my least favorite. I think if I were to list my favorite carrying devices, fanny pack would come in around 3rd or 4th. Not too shabby.

I enjoy list-making and I find it easier and less confusing to sort my thought into lists. Below you will find some fanny-pack-perks [fanny-perks for short]:

1. You can easily access your belongings
2. Your hands are free to perform other tasks
3. You will be the only one sporting a fanny pack so you will be sure to attract attention
4. Fanny packs are versatile so there is no limit to the amount of outfits you can wear it with
5. You can wear your fanny pack over your shoulder as a neat purse
and last but not least...
6. You never need to remove your fanny pack. Ever. [you can easily sit, dance, jog, ride a roller coaster, drive a car, do the Macarena, and sleep while wearing one]

I've even come across some fanny packs that are camouflaged as additional shirt ruffles -->

So, in short, there is no need to deny the obvious perks of fanny-pack ownership and you should really take this moment to wander over to the store [perhaps a local American Apparel for the thrifty shoppers] and make a fanny-purchase. I mean right now I am simultaneously blogging while holding my phone, wallet, keys, and sunglasses. Impressive, I know. Just think of the possibilities.

I DON'T HATE IT.

Having a blog isn't something I ever thought I would take seriously. In fact, I had another blog previously [I was forced to create one for a class] and I deleted it. I even made it through ten rounds of questions such as "Are you sure you want to permanently delete this blog?" because I was so certain I did not want it.

Now that I am trying this again I feel a bit like a new mother. My previous attempt at blogger-dom ended in putting my child up for adoption, but I think this time around I'm in it for the long haul. My little blog fetus and I are going to grow together and one day we might even be famous! Our names in lights! Sorry, I got a bit ahead of myself.

Anywho, as I reflect on my past blogging experience, I realize that I never truly hated blogs, I just wasn't sure I liked them. They aren't all bad, but are they all good? They don't offend me, but do I really care if they exist at all? That's a problem I often face in my black-and-white world of likes and dislikes. If it isn't like, it must be hate and if it isn't hate, it must be like. But I've learned that sometimes life can be grey, and well, I might not like it, but I don't hate it.
