HIDE & GO SEAT!

The acrylic chair. I used to strongly dislike the see-through look, but lately I've started warming up to the idea. A chair that doesn't add any visual weight to a room is pretty nifty for any space -- especially in the awesomely modern designs below. Feast your eyes on these babies (if you can find them)!

Ain't she a beauty?!

At first glance you might be apprehensive to sit on this, but aren't your eyes in loooove!?

And now a few snapshots of these spectacular space-chameleons at work:

As bar stools:

As dining-room chairs...

And my personal favorite:
As a compliment to some awesomely-funky-color-spotted-square-chairs...
...YUM!!

The last picture is the inspiration for this post. As I was perusing images of professionally designed homes I came across this and exclaimed, "I THINK I MIGHT LOVE THIS!" Yes, that's right folks, my tastes are maturing. While I used to find anything see-through utterly repulsive, I've decided now that it doesn't offend me in the slightest. Well, anything modern and acrylic and similar to the photos above don't offend me [blow-up chairs circa 2001 offend me. Sorry. I needed to clarify.]
